Small World, Big Event. The Bay Laurel Chef and “The Wine Gal”

Serendipity meets Alchemy

Chef Chris Greenwald on the
Standards of Excellence Chefs Stage
It should not continue to amaze me when I meet someone in the culinary community who knocks me out, who I then learn is deeply connected to another person I am honored to know and admire. But it still surprises me. Last July I met, cooked with and fell for Chef Christopher Greenwald  of Bay Laurel Culinary. Chef is a top notch caterer, sought after cooking teacher and sustainability expert. He was highly recommended to me to be on my Standards of Excellence Global Kitchen Chef Stage at the Marin County Fair.  (I won top honors at the Western Fair Awards for “Best Promotional Event” in all of the West! Hey, best in the West!)

With the talent line up I secured, it is no surprise! A HUGE factor in landing twenty five chefs of this caliber was that our team at Standards of Excellence created an experience for the chefs with a Viking Double Convection Oven and Induction Burners.
Ziggy rules the roost with co-host Clark Wolf

And then I met Ziggy “The Wine Gal”  at the Sonoma County Wine Country Weekend. Ziggy, a top wine and media personality had the crowd roaring with wild and wonderful co-host and culinary celebrity Clark Wolf as they hosted the Viking Chef Stage Chef’s Battle with celebrity chef judge Hubert Keller. Again, having remarkable cooking equipment made the chefs smile! Yes, another S.O.E. and Viking chef experience!
I love the behind the scenes banter!

Of course Chef Christopher and Ziggy are close friends and colleagues, I found out and guess what? We are bringing them to YOU! They will wine, dine and delight you at the Fresh Starts Cooking School in Novato, CA. ! Ziggy is also arranging to get a lamb, vegetables and fruit from the super-sustainable Benzigner Winery www.benzigner.com. Are you in?! READ ON…

Rachelle says, "It should not continue to amaze me when I meet someone in the culinary community who knocks me out...", so I'm wondering how many people in how many communities have been knocked cold when they met and got to know Rachelle?
